Firm founder and principal consultant, Eric Lundquist, has over two decades of experience in nearly all technical aspects of complex transactions in the capital asset finance business. Born and raised in Maine, Eric graduated from Harvard and lived and worked in New York City before returning to his home state, where he now lives. 207 Analytics, LLC is named after the sole telephone area code used in the 'Vacationland' State of Maine.
Eric began his career in finance as an Analyst with McManus & Miles in New York City, then moved on to work as an Associate at the industry-leading financial software firm Warren & Selbert (now Accufy Analytics). In 2000, Eric joined Fleet Capital, which later merged with Bank of America Leasing.
During his nearly 20 year tenure with Bank of America Leasing, Eric was a highly respected and well-known pricing expert within the cross-border leveraged lease market, and later the renewable energy finance market, directly building complex financial models and creating industry-leading pricing techniques and structures eventually deployed by numerous firms. His career-defining role was as the Pricing Executive for the Leasing company, responsible for the pricing, structuring, and economic evaluation of all transactions for the Bank of America Leasing Company for nearly a decade. In that capacity, he led a team of 30+ experienced associates, providing complex pricing, economic analysis, and structuring guidance across all market segments and equipment finance products. From 2010 to 2018, Eric was integrally involved in the startup, development, and growth of the now industry-leading Bank of America Renewable Energy Finance Group.
Eric also led the Bank of America Leasing Equipment Management Group in 2018 and 2019, a team of 40+ appraisal and valuation experts engaged in the end-to-end equipment management of the Leasing portfolio; from establishing upfront valuations and at-risk residual positions at lease origination, to negotiating unscheduled restructuring & termination events, to end of term re-lease negotiations and ultimately property disposition. In addition, he was the Credit Reporting Executive for over 3 years, leading a team of four associates responsible for the periodic and ad hoc reporting of critical asset quality metrics on the Leasing portfolio to senior management, audit partners, and external regulators. As the CCAR Executive for Leasing, Eric was responsible for developing, documenting, and implementing Leasing's quarterly stress testing methodology & models for assessing the potential impact on balances and revenue of proscribed stress scenarios (both internal and regulatory). In this capacity, he routinely interacted with the highest levels of Bank of America C-suite management and was recognized for his highly succinct and on-point presentation style and subject matter expertise.
Across all of these roles, Eric functioned as a key member of the Bank of America Leasing Company's Senior Leadership team, responsible for providing candid input and guidance on any and all technical issues across the business, and as a valued and trusted counselor to senior executives both within the Leasing Company and in other divisions (Corp. Tax, Corp. Finance, Capital Analysis).
Eric's diverse experience across multiple highly technical areas of the asset finance industry and demonstrated ability to quickly understand the essential elements of a complex project or issue allows him to effectively and efficiently engage on a wide range of analytical topics.
